Because Rebecca is a sophmore and lives off campus, we decided to spice up campus life and eat dinner off campus! We had an adventure trying to find Applebees, but finally found it and got a table for five. During dinner we talked about our upcoming persuasive speech on gun control, trying to organize what we were going to say. Our dinner consisted of pastas, chicken tenders, salmon, and a quesadilla. Besides the speech, we hardly talked about school as we were updating each other on the currrent events happening in our lives. Beside us at a table there was a huge group of people who were only using sign language. Since they were laughing and some were whispering, we came to the conclusion that it was a sign language class out to dinner. As we were leaving, we stopped an older couple leaving the restaurant and asked to have our picture taken. After glances were exchanged between the two, our dinner out was documented and Rebecca proceeded to drop us off at our dorms because it was so cold outside. We all had a good time at dinner, and we will all miss our meetings as a group when the semester ends because we have become a gcom family!
